Cycling Related Endeavors:
I caught the cycling bug when I was 9 by doing the MS Breakaway to the
Beach ride on this clunker of a mountain bike. In 2003, I quit soccer
and began racing after being promised a shiny new racing bike like the
ones I had seen used in the MS ride. In 2005 I joined Eric Peterson's
junior development team and with him I went to nationals where I
placed 6th in the 15-16 criterium. The next two years I raced on the
junior team Hottubes where I got to race all over the world. Last year
I raced for DLP Pro Cycling and got the chance to race a lot of big
races. This year I am coming back to the Southeast to gain some more
experience, and hopefully results, with Globalbike. I am excited with
what the team is doing this year and the direction they are headed.
Other Interests:
I enjoy cooking,
reading, listening to music, traveling, math, and Facebook.
